Prevention is Our Personal Responsibility

It isn’t just the responsibility of physicians or health facilities; it is a responsibility that each of us carries.

Prevention isn’t limited to a simple medical examination; prevention is a lifestyle.

It begins with knowledge and continues with action: staying informed, maintaining a balanced diet, engaging in regular physical activity, avoiding smoking, managing stress, and, of course, undergoing regular preventative screenings.

Today, science gives us the ability to prevent various disease before they even appear. Colorectal cancer is a prime example: when detected early, it can be treated effectively, and prevention holds the key.

With just one preventative test, we can protect our health, manage a disease that develops silently, and, above all, allow ourselves to live without fear through awareness and care.

Prevention, however, does not stop at “taking care of myself”. It becomes truly effective when it is collective. When we communicate its importance to those around us, our family, friends and colleagues.

“When society learns to prevent our entire relationship with health and life changes, prevention starts with us.”

We stay informed, take care, get screened and prevent.

Because prevention is our personal responsibility, and it is the most powerful gift we can offer to ourselves and loved ones.
